I also foster here at vom Wachter Kennels.  When I have time and space, I take in animals from the local shelters and work with them, including entire litters or pregnant moms.  Pregnant mothers need a quiet, safe place to deliver their pups, and I am a sucker for mothers that are ready to whelp.  The more I can do to train the dog, the better its chance of finding a lifetime home.  I breed quality GSD's, but every dog, no matter it's breeding, deserves a forever home.
