Samson is a 6 year old black and tan German Shepherd.  Samson has strong German bloodlines with a family history of multiple titled Schutzhund winners.  Samson's full sister, Maxi vom Mittelwest (Schutzhund 3) won the 2001 German Sieger award.  Both Samson's parents and grandparents also have Schutzhund 3 titles.  Samson has been trained as an air-scent search and rescue dog since the age of 10 weeks, and has been successfully used on many searches.  Samson has passed air scent certifications in three separate states:  Arizona, Texas, and South Dakota.  Samson has an overall wonderful disposition, with a very strong desire to work.  Samson also has a very high retrieve drive, and will often compete with Rogue for control of the tennis ball.  Samson was neutered at the age of three due to significant allergies (genetic), and an average hip OFA rating of "fair".  Samson also has a floppy left ear, which most people find just adds to his appeal.
